When it comes to your home, you may have a vision for how you want it to look and feel—but finding the time, resources, and right pieces can feel overwhelming. Renovating, remodeling, or refurnishing a home is a major investment, and you want to get it right the first time.

Liz Carpenter Interiors is a Wilmington, NC interior designer specializing in new builds, renovations, and full-home refurnishing. We guide you through every step of the process, and handle the details—from space planning and material selections to furniture, lighting, and finishes—so you don’t have to.

Our goal is to create homes that are not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and thoughtfully designed for the way you live. We want you to feel confident in your space—and excited to welcome others into it.

Liz Carpenter Interiors works closely with homeowners throughout Wilmington to transform ideas into cohesive, livable interiors. We take the vision of what your house could be and design a home that truly feels like yours.

After an initial conversation I'll send you a questionnaire that will help me learn about your project and your style.

I'll create our plan

I'll come out to your home to meet with you, measure and photograph. I create a floor plan or furniture layout and a budget for the project.

I'll take it from here

I'll create a design that you're excited about. We'll source all the goods, handle the ordering and the deliveries. (Don't be nervous, you'll get to approve everything.) We'll manage the subcontractors. Basically, we'll take it from here!

Our services are billed by the hour at a rate of $200/hr.

We will listen to you and learn about your hopes for your space. We will coach you to make sure the plan we develop will be exactly what you want. We will respect your budget. We are committed to you loving the results.
